Reports emerged last week that Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen was punched in the face just hours after the Fighting Irish lost a double-OT contest to UConn.
Later in the week, Clausen showed up at practice with a black visor covering his face.
In Notre Dame’s loss to Stanford on Saturday night, pictures of the QB’s face showed the extent of his black eye.
