While you were enjoying your holiday and slipping into a tryptophan coma, Ron Artest was busy tweeting about his frustration surrounding the alleged welfare fraud scandal he and his sister are involved in.
You have to admit, the timing of the story was pretty low given its proximity to the Thanksgiving holiday, but Artest’s call to send angry e-mails to the reporter at the Indy Star who broke the story, John Tuohy, is a little over-the-top.
Really, it looks like Artest’s sister, Latoya Holmes-Ivey, is the one who’s in hot water here. In case you missed it, our previous story covering the scandal is here.
