Golfer Tiger Woods was seriously injured when his vehicle struck a fire hydrant and then a tree near his home in Isleworth, Floirda on Friday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Woods was injured in the crash, which took place around 2:30 a.m. EST. Woods was taken to a local hospital.
The Orange County Fire Department has confirmed that a patient was transported to Health Central, but they have not yet confirmed that the patient was Tiger Woods.
The golfer was treated for facial lacerations.
Woods was driving his 2009 black Cadillac Escalade when he seemingly lost control of the vehicle and struck a fire hydrant that was located outside his own home and a tree outside of his neighbor’s house.
At this time, the Tiger Woods crash is still under investigation. The FHP report that alcohol was not involved, but there are charges pending.
