Are the sponsorships about to start dropping for Tiger Woods?
Gatorade has revealed that the company will halt production of its “Gatorade Tiger Focus” drink. Gatorade says, however, that the decision was made BEFORE recent allegations that Tiger Woods had extramarital affairs with several women.

Company officials released the following statement to CNBC:
“We decided several months ago to discontinue Gatorade Tiger Focus along with some other products to make room for our planned series of innovative products in 2010. We hope to share more about our 2010 plans soon.”
The sports drink contained an ingredient to reduce stress and the label featured an image of Woods’ eyes.
There is already speculation that Gatorade’s decision was related to certain recent events, but CNBC has obtained proof that the decision was made before Woods’ SUV crash.
So far, none of Tiger Woods’ sponsors (including the likes of Nike, AT&T, Gillette, Accenture, and Pepsi) have dropped him as a spokesperson. Woods had already lost Buick and American Express within the past two years for unrelated reasons.
