Free-agent pitcher Jason Marquis has agreed to a two-year, $15 million deal with the Washington Nationals on Monday, according to sources.

A physical is needed before the deal can be finalized.

In 2008, Marquis went 15-13 with a 4.04 ERA in 33 starts for the Colorado Rockies. In his 10-year career, during which every team he has played for has made it to the postseason, he is 94-83 with a 4.48 ERA.
