Tim Tebow often wears eye-black that refers to Biblical passages. For example, during last week’s game against Florida State, his eye-black read “Heb 12 1-2.”
This week, he has “John 16:33,” which referred to a passage from John’s Gospel in the New Testament.
John 16:33 reads:
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
Number one ranked Florida squares off against number two ranked Alabama in a critical game on Saturday. The winner, of course, will advance to the BCS National Championship Game.
