Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez have split up. Hudson and the Yankees slugger have put the brakes on their relationship.

The couple started dating in May.  Hudson, 30, had been seen cheering for A-Rod, 34, at many Yankee games. She was there with him to celebrate when the Yankees won their 27th World Series title in November.

News of the split comes just days after Hudson answered vaguely to David Letterman‘s questioning regarding A-Rod during her appearance on his show.

A-Rod was seen flying solo at an Armani Exchange bash on Saturday, where he was also being flirty with one of the female guests.
