Just one day after Jeff Hardy made his stunning debut with TNA Wrestling, the extreme superstar was indicted on Tuesday by a grand jury in North Carolina on drug charges.

Hardy was arrested in September and charged with felony possession of cocaine, felony drug trafficking of opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to redistribute a Schedule III drug, maintaining a dwelling for drug use and/or distribution and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hardy’s appearance in TNA had to be unexpected by the folks at WWE as he had orally agreed on a return date with the company. He had left WWE back in August.

It’s believed that Hardy’s deal with TNA is short term.
