Olivia Namath, daughter of Hall of Fame QB Joe Namath, has been busted in South Florida.
She is facing charges of possession of liquor by a person under 21 and two counts of possession of marijuana, including possession with the intent to sell.
Olivia, 20, has been released on bond.
Namath was pulled over in a routine traffic stop on Sunday, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Her speeding silver Mercedes was spotted at about 12:48 a.m. on Monday, according to a report issued to the press this morning. The deputy reports that he followed her for a quarter of a mile and estimated she was driving 58 mph in a 50 mph zone.
He then reported smelling marijuana in the car.
Police found bags full of a “green leafy substance” that tested positive for marijuana in the car’s floor board and trunk. They also found a bottle of rum and some bottles of beer.
The deputy’s paperwork states that Namath denied knowing about the drugs.
