Washington DE Daniel Te’o-Nesheim was snatched up by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Te’o-Nesheim was taken with the 22nd pick of the third round on Friday night. He ended up as the 86th overall selection, coming seven picks after his former Washington teammate Donald Butler was taken by the Chargers.
Te’o-Nesheim was initially predicted to go as a third- or fourth-round pick. He’s has been applauded by both players and coaches for his nonstop effort on the field.
He is Washington’s career sacks leader with 30 and had 11 during his senior year.
