The Los Angeles Lakers selected Devin Ebanks in the 2010 NBA draft. The Lakers chose Ebanks as their 43th pick overall.

Lakers’ GM Mitch Kupchak says he’s lucky have the forward player.

Ebanks played two seasons with the Mountaineers and had a career average of 11.2 points per game. He was selected to the All-Big East Conference third team last season and made the Big East All-Rookie and All-Tournament teams as a freshman.

Ebanks made 273 rebounds in his first season. He made just 10 percent of his 3-point shots last year. He is very strong in defense and has a decent mid-range game.
