The Red Bulls have made it official.
In one of the worst kept secrets in soccer history, the New York Red Bulls announced today that they have signed French international forward Thierry Henry to a multi-year deal as their second designated player.
Henry, who recently competed on the French team in the World Cup in South Africa, will team with Red Bulls captain Juan Pablo Angel, whose is second in the league with nine goals.
Angel is the team’s first designated player.
