High School Football Team Goes up 29-0 Before Opponent Gets Possession (VIDEO)

Every once in a while, something happens in sports that’s so bizarre, you wonder if you’ll ever see such a thing again. This is one of those things.

In a highly-anticipated Arkansas football game, Little Rock Pulaski Academy led the game 29-0 before Cabot High ever got to run a play.

How so, you might ask?

Well, for Pulaski head coach Kevin Kelley, it only requires some outside-of-the-box thinking and a ton of onside kicks.

“That game the other night, they were just stunned,” Kelley said of his team breakout lead. “Emotionally, it takes so much out of you when the other team goes for it successfully or recovers an onside kick…or three of them in a row.”

After winning the coin toss, Pulaski drove down the field for a touchdown. Just after the score, the Bruins went with an onside kick. Moments later, they scored again. As Pulaski lined up for another kickoff, it seemed pretty unlikely they would try that again, but try it again they did…another onside kick. Another touchdown.

Care to guess what happened next? Another onside kickoff, another recovery, and another touchdown. After just 4:25 had elapsed, they led 29-0.
