Colts punter Pat McAfee to Antonio Brown: ‘Don’t cleat me in the face’

antonio-brown-cleats-faceIt was a memorable moment in NFL history.

On September 7, 2014, Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers kicked Cleveland Browns ex-punter Spencer Lanning in the face with his cleats during a kick return.

Punters have been avoiding the Steelers wideout ever since.

On Tuesday, Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee tweeted to Brown asking for mercy as the two teams square off on Thanksgiving day.

Hey @AntonioBrown.. it’s gonna be Thanksgiving.. my mom’s gonna be there.. once again, none of this.. please.. thanks in advance

Brown seemed to take it in stride, advising that McAfee should just kick the ball out of bounds.

Maybe McAfee should just sit this one out.

University of Kansas KKK TrumpA few University of Kansas students are in hot water over a controversial picture that was posted on social media.

A cheerleader and three members of the schools spirit squad have been suspended after posting a photo on Snapchat that jokingly linked President-elect Donald Trump to the Ku Klux Klan.

The photo in question shows three members of the school’s cheer squad sporting sweaters with the letter “K’’ representing “Kansas” on their chests. Typed across the photo is the phrase “Kkk go trump.”

The student who posted the pic, Lili Gagin, and the three students in the photo have all been suspended.

Associate athletic director Jim Marchiony said university officials learned of the posting during the men’s basketball team’s 83-63 victory over UAB, according to CBS News.

Jake Arrieta trolls celebs who said they’d leave U.S. if Trump won

Jake ArrietaThe 2016 presidential election may be over, but it’s clear that the aftershocks will be felt for days and weeks to come.

Donald Trump defeated former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Tuesday night, which poses an interesting question.

What will happen to all those celebrities who vowed to leave the U.S. if Trump won?

Jake Arrieta has some thoughts on the matter.

On Wednesday, the Chicago Cubs pitcher tweeted that they should all hit the road. He’ll even lend a hand.

Time for Hollywood to pony up and head for the border #illhelpyoupack #beatit

What makes the tweet even more interesting is the fact that Cubs president Theo Epstein made a donation to Clinton’s campaign last month.

What did he think of Arrieta’s tweet?

“I’m still processing that,” he said. “I believe in the first amendment. But I also believe we should be mindful of how other people feel.”

The plot thickens!

Dan Carpenter’s wife threatens to neuter Richard Sherman after cheap shot

dan-carpenter-richard-shermanIf there’s one thing you don’t want to do in life, it’s tick off an athlete’s wife.

Richard Sherman learned this the hard way after Kaela Carpenter, wife of Buffalo Bills kicker Dan Carpenter, blasted the Seattle Seahawks cornerback late Monday night.

Just before halftime at last night’s Monday Night Football game between the two teams, Sherman attempted to block one of Carpenter’s kicks.

Not only was Sherman offsides on the play, but he put a pretty big hit on Carpenter as well.

Late Monday night, Kaela Carpenter tweeted…

I know what we do on the farm when a male can’t control his own rage.

The tweet was accompanied by a photo of a…well…you can just take a look below.
